| My friend and I are making a prop for a convention we are going to and we were using the e6000 for it and the tube of glue sealed the cap to it's tube does anyone know how to unstick the glue? |

| I use my teeth but I don't suggest doing that. You may need to get a pair of pliers to help turn the cap. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| Thanks I don't know how it got stuck like that but it did and well we both feel kind of silly with it happening and don't want to have to buy another tube for two areas that we need to finish. |

| If all else fails, stick a pin in the tube and create a hole LOL ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| How about running the cap under hot water? I don't know but that's what I do with stuck caps to help loosen them up.. Don't know for sure.. sorry... just a suggestion |

| I'm right there with Karen......I have had tubes glue themselves shut and I stuck a pin in the tube to get the glue out, and you know what?? The hole glued itself shut too!! At least it worked with Super glue, an I did get a tube of E6000 that had a puncture or something in the side of it. It actually sealed itself too, so I wouldn't worry if you have to resort to sticking in a pin! A rooting needle works great baby hugs, Audrey |

| Just make sure you don't need that rooting needle for anything else, though! LOL ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| Karen, you just made my teeth hurt!!!! OK, I admit, I've done that, too. It leaks out so easily and the cap always seems gets stuck. I ask my hubby a lot to open it. That and the BB air dry gloss. I HATE those jars!!!!! ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ Hugs, Lara www.angelsinwaitingnursery.com |

| Hold it under the hot water for a little bit. Works like a charm. I'm terrible about not wiping the tip off well before putting on the cap, so learned this the hard way! |

| I always put a double layer of clingfilm on the top of the tube before putting the top back on. Works a treat |

| They make e6000 in a caulking tube now and someone had asked how they keep the glue fresh since there is no cap and she said she was told to put a little bit of aluminum foil over the end. Guess we could try that with the little tubes, too. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| I have a really bad habit of using my teeth for things too. Hubby yells at me every time he sees me doing it. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after the mortifying experience I had years ago when working at a fabric store. We sold liquid embroidery at that time and a lady wanted to see how it worked. So I picked up a tube, tried to pull the cap off and ... yup ... it was stuck. So into my mouth it went so I could open it. Well wouldn't you know that squeezing the tube to twist it would have enough pressure on it that when the cap did loosen ... it came off and squirted the stuff into my mouth!! Too bad it wasn't Halloween time because I'd have been a perfect vampire since the tube I grabbed was red. Now I have red stuff dripping out of the corner of my mouth with the customer looking at me like she doesn't know if she should be worried about what sort of chemicals I have in my mouth ... or howling with laughter. The laughter won out as she gasped for breath and told me that's probably exactly what she'd have done. After she left, having bought embroidery floss instead of the liquid paint, I went to clean up and found out that the stuff isn't water soluble ... I had to dig out the Goo off junk to get it off my chin. |
