I use the 02, but you can use ultrmarine, if you have that, to. We are not doing any washes...it is just for the veining mostly.

I have 10 free samples of the yellow orchre, if anyone needs that shipped with their kit.

I have a small container of Yellow orchre Lara so I will pass on the sample so someone else can have it but I was wondering where you have purchased it before. I have looked around just a little and for the life of me don't remember where I got mine from. Who is a good supplier for the odd colors?

Is it white ceramic? - I like white so I can see the colors. Since your first class I've been looking for little, bitty, clear, glass dishes and lids. I use the lids to cover the paint so dust won't settle over the paint (probably not a problem for you Lara). I got a big glass lid to cover the whole white palette. Yardsales are good for this.

Do you plan to mix one color in a section and then do a different shade on the edge or do you need a bigger section for a color OR are there more sections? It is intriguing to have a little idea of where we are going this time - before the last class I was clueless. (Oops I may have said that wrong - last class I had no experience and therefore I was clueless.) Lara knew where she was going, but didn't know where we had or hadn't been, cause people, like me were clueless.

I can tell you I bought more mops at a Hobby Lobby sale. I plan to put tags/labels on them so I don't mix paint colors.

I got off track because I need plain Yellow, not Yellow Oh,dear. I don't spell or dance well, but I do use a dictionary, occasionally.

Lara, I do need plain yellow and I would like you to include a sample with my order and I'll forgive you if your forget - because you have a lot on your plate/pallette. My email has problems and I hope it is not a virus - I'm thinking server/provider upgrades is the issue, especially because I don't have any other problems.

Love that big pallet - I'll be getting one. The cover is a great idea. I am using a cut glass cover, from a dish that broke, for my little ceramic pallet. Love to save/recycle if I can.

PostSubject: BB pre-mixed paints   Fri 30 Oct - 2:08:05

[i]I was wondering if the BB pre-mixed paints came in a set or you need to get them individually? I have a couple, but want all the "special" colours for the lips, nails, etc. Also, what would the best size be to get? They are mostly for the tiny details, so am not sure if I should get the full size and never worry about running out, or get the small, and still have enough for a lot of dolls.

Thanks!

I've been using the small premix blush/nail/lip FOREVER, and I use it on every doll. You can get all the small ones at BB for like $2-3. If you go through your paint too fast, you are using too much.

Lyndie- got your yellow sample written down, so I won't forget. :D

PostSubject: Pre-mixed Paints from BB   Fri 30 Oct - 14:13:29

[i]Thanks! I will go there and order them. Seems like I can get the smaller size and have them last quite awhile. Sounds good to me, lol.

Thanks!
