| I'm curious as to what everyone uses to put their baby/kit on in the oven. Obviously, you can't set them directly on a pan or they'll scorch...I've heard of fiberfill stuffing, cloth, etc... what works the best? I'm afraid of anything plastic or polyester conducting the heat too much. Has anyone had any problems? What have you found works the best?

| Dish towels........and occasionally I will just set the kit in the oven (if I use the regular oven) my wood drying rack. That way all four sides of the baby get exposure to the heat nicely.

| I use my wooden drying rack in the oven. I actually have three of them so even if I am doing more than one baby I use them. I use dish towels on a large jelly roll type pan for toddler sized babies as the racks don't work with them.

| I use a cookie sheet, with a white dish towel on that, then some paper towels on that, always white and have never had a problem. Paper doesn't flame until something like 430 degrees(dont'quote me, but somewhere like that) and the cotton towel is not going to scorth till much higher than 265 too. Relax... or as the teens say..chillax..it will be okay. |

| I use the white dish towel on the pan that goes in my tabletop oven. I used the polyfill before and somehow it shifted while cooking and melted a toe : ( Hope that helps, Hugs Barbi |

| Thanks so much ladies! Barbi, I had the same thought about polyfill that it would shift or the part would sink in too much. I don't have my oven yet (saving up for a halogen) but I wanted to be all set and ready to go when I do get it! |

| I use a bath towel on a cookie sheet and cover the piece/s with a tea towel. I find that covering the pieces reduces the shine a lot, works perfectly for me. |
