Michele, I would suggest the AA ebook, or the Middle Eastern for a darker pallet. The Asian one is being redone in May, so might as well wait for the new one!! wink

Good to know Lara thankyou! ....I will def. go with the AA Book on Wed. then!

If anyone cancels on this workshop...I would be interested in going. If you have an extra kit...I would need one...if there is an opening.

I do have 2 extra kits. I know, this workshop filled fast, as did the TN workshop. We do still have room in the CA workshop, I think 1 spot left for PA, and Langston, AL, as well. bigsmile

I don't think I could afford to go to CA...airfare has gotten so high...that's why we drove to NC to see our son. Not sure how far AL is...will have to look. I will go check the dates of the workshops and check travel rates and hotels...then let you know. I cannot wait for TN...I need so much help with rooting. I have tried so many kinds of needles and different rooting tools...the pink pen...and still have trouble getting hair to go in. The 6 barb works but it puts way too much hair in and I have to sit and pull most of it out. Could someone tell me where the best place is to get good hair for newborns?

Would the PA one be too fara drive? Probably....It's about 4 1/2 hour drive for me from Pittsburgh.
As for mohair, I use Slumberland and Delta Dawn. Love them both, but Slumberland has finer hair.

Langston, AL is a 9 hour drive for you. We have a real blast at this workshop, and get lots done and we'll be concentrating longer on rooting.

I found airline tickets for AL...$189 each way...not too bad. Hubby doesn't want me making that far of a drive alone...he worries about me too much, but you gotta love that. Would my teenage daughter be able to come along? She wouldn't need a kit or get in the way...just someone to be with me in case of trouble... and she is a really good helper...maybe run errands or help in some other way. With my medical issues, hubby doesn't like me being alone on the road...or anywhere, actually. I really don't like the idea of leaving her at the hotel alone that far from home while I would be at the workshop.

I really don't have a problem with her coming but do realize its an adult sense of mentality there(not maturity lol) The Alabama workshop we're in a bunkhouse but you can get a separate cabin and its at a private resort so its a safe place.

A private resort wouldn't be too bad...would probably get our own cabin so she can stay there and chat with all her friends or sit and draw some of the landscape. She loves art. I will let you know...thanks for all the info.

So excited about the workshop gals!!!! happyhappy
