| Well, that would work! But, we don't drink so no shot glasses around here...I was thinking of old baby food jars, I think I kept a few to use for crafts. |

| yes I am having to use my kitchen oven today for my Greta toddler legs and I hate it, also any longer and they would not fit, at least the rest of her parts fit into turbo.
Try thrift shops for old shot glasses, and china plates etc. I am using a divided plate as a palette, has 3 sections in it. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ Lyn Reborn Artist - Lynk Nursery PLEASE CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE - NEW ITEMS BEING ADDED REGULARLY http://lynkproducts.com.au |

| Rachel go to walmart and get some ramekins in the baking area. That is what the fancy Tinkerbell ladies recommend apparently in their CDs.
You also could use an old couple of dinner plates or saucers or pieces of window glass. I use some window glass occ. and I use the ramekins and anything just laying around. When I am mixing for Lara's directions I recommend a saucer with the indentation for the cup. Works divinely. Although I now have a pallette I still use the old stuff because I am comfortable with them etc. You don't need the whistles and bells.....just the basics.
I hope you like your oven as much as I like mine! I am actually taking mine with me this weekend. In case the painting mood should strike. Or?.......if I clean it out real well we can bake brownies in it too! LOL
What are you going to bring to work on? anything? I am not sure yet for myself.
It will be so nice to meet you......I will be the fat lady, with a cane handcarved into a fish with terribly ugly hair and will probably be wet with perspiration. I am not missable..........just as Barbara!

| Lyn I realized that the Tibby legs I have would just about fit a cookie sheet! LOL So.....there went ANY idea of the little oven being used for the big kids! LOL
Saving the bigger ones for colder weather.

| At the Paris workshop we used little round dishes - packed 4 for a $1 at Dollar tree. They look like the Pyrex ones and are about 2.5 inches across the top and 1.5 inches high. With those you never slop the paint into the next bowl of paint and get the colors all mixed up. You do need a cover to save them - but a big plate will cover them all - and it can be old and cracked. |

| Hi Rachel I'am in the same boat, I have been buying kits, paints, mohair etc. also got a bench oven. I'am starting my kits on Thursday. Not feeling very confident lol but have to start sometime. Hubby says no more kits until I have started painting lol.
But I have been doing a lot of sewing for the babies,
I just wanted to wish you very good luck |

| baby food jars will work also. Go to Salvation Army, Goodwill, or another thrift store. All you need is glass or ceramic and I prefer glass(thus the shot glasses). The little bowls at Dollar Tree are also nice. I'm going to pick some up, too. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| Thrift stores or the Dollar Tree are excellent ideas! Thanks ladies!
I do have Lara's "Beautiful Doll" ebook, so I plan to use that.
Yeah, Loretta! I'm doing the same thing: collecting kits & parts and doing a lot of sewing while I wait. It is intimidating thinking about soon I'll be starting on my first reborn. I got a cheap Berunger doll that I'm going to practice on so it'll take some of the pressure off of me. That doll is my youngest son's doll. He claimed it as soon as I opened the box when it came in the mail. He grabbed the head and said "BABY!" and started hugging it and kissing it and carrying it around. |

| I bought the ebook beautiful doll too and have printed it off, I also bought the newborn but I hav'nt printed that one out as I used all the ink in the printer. So will have to get new cartridges again lol I did get some odd pieces from BB to practise on, we live in the country so there are not many good will stores, only one Saint Vincents, but they don't really have anything that I can practice on. Well will have to bit the bullet and start lol. Good luck Rachel well everyone had to start at one time. |
