| I'm doing some browsing online for countertop ovens and having a hard time getting a grip on dimensions.
Does anyone know if a 17 liter toaster oven is a sufficient size for reborning? There's one on sale at Overstock today for under $60.
Or if you have recommendations for specific ovens, please share! |

| In that case I don't know what I want -- I've heard on other forums that convection ovens are more likely to melt vinyl. |

| You definitely have to be careful with them because if you come into contact with the heating element, its over. I'm hoping to get a halogen oven when I get my studio set up. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| the toaster ovens are not large enough for the kits due to the location of the elements in them. A 17l convection/halogen/turbo oven is a good option though, just make sure it has the metal extender ring in it. Without the extender ring the element in the lkid is too close and will melt the head of your kit. with the extension ring in place you should not have a problem. I have been using one now for over 2 years and only had one mishap, and that was when my kitchen one broke down and I borrowed my dolly lid to finish cooking what was started. I forgot to turn the temp back down and I melted my poor Chantal's head. I baked her for 10 mins at 225 celsius instead of 130 celsius. I have had times where the timer has not turned off (rare) and it has not caused any problems, even when cooked for double the time, yet a normal kitchen oven after 20 mins would be disaster. There have been quite a few discussions about these ovens in the past on here, here are some links to topics. http://www.realreborn.com/search?mode=searchbox&search_keywords=halogen&show_results=topicshttp://www.realreborn.com/t2598-ovens-for-cooking-babies-the-aussie-s-useawesome══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ Lyn Reborn Artist - Lynk Nursery PLEASE CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE - NEW ITEMS BEING ADDED REGULARLY http://lynkproducts.com.au |

| 30% off that brings it down to a realsitic price. That is very similar to what I use and ahs the extender ring comes with it. You will only need the lwoer ring, the higher ring you can sit aside and forget you ahve it. I line the low ring with a white flannelette diaper/fabric. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ Lyn Reborn Artist - Lynk Nursery PLEASE CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE - NEW ITEMS BEING ADDED REGULARLY http://lynkproducts.com.au |

| I think that's the one I'm going to try. The price has gone up $5 since Sunday, but with my coupon it's still within my reach.
Thanks for weighing in. |

| My halogen oven came today, and I think I'm really going to like it. The temperature control seems much more sensitive, and it seems to hold the temperature at a very constant level.
Thanks for steering me in this direction! |
