We are just now exploring silicone kits. It might be awhile before we really know much at all. We're going to let Lara experiment with them and then she can guide the rest of us.

You can buy blank silicone kits from here http://www.angelaoriginals.com/FullSiliconeBaby.htm
and a great tutorial is here http://www.doll-fan.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=249325
You can get kits elsewhere as well, but these are the cheapest I have seen, unless you find 1 on ebay

I have a customer who wants me to paint her a solid silicone baby, so once I find the right one, my journey into silicone begins! It is very expensive. Tamie Yarie wanted $800 for her unpainted Haven kit, and she is 3/4 limbs! So, I will keep looking. Tina Kewy has a solid silicone coming out. I just don't know thw price yet. DF seems to have lots of info on the silicone painting.

I have the Harris "Sweet Pea" kit on order.. It was posted as the last one when I bought it. I'm having mine sent painted, but I do have a dragon silicone boneham kit, Alfie which I purchased to practice on. I am really wanting to learn to paint them, since I purchased a silicone, Ella Rose toddler. I love the way they look and feel!

Oh I can't wait to see your work Lara on the silicone kits, I was at Donna's house the other day and she has a beautiful silicone baby and I held it, they feel so real. Oh by the way Donna has some of the most beautiful babies on display in her home. It was such a treat to visit with her and see all her babies.
