| Ok I finally got my Nu-wave halogen oven but I have no idea what I am doing with it I did get the extender ring and I did figure out how it comes together. But do I use the black baking pan on the bottom and just cover that with a towel to lay my doll pieces on top of it?? I know that when using the regular oven you lay towels on the baking sheet ...same concept with the halogen oven I am assuming? And do I turn it on and measure the temp. with the oven thermometer before I put the doll pieces in or do I put the doll pieces in first and then turn it on and watch the oven thermometer? Please help!!! Thanks so much |

| Ok on mine my pieces fit inside the bowl with a towel on the bottom of the bowl so on yours if I'm not mistaken the bowl covers the pieces so I would cover the bottom trade wiith a towel of some kind I wouldn't try batting as I've had that melt but a white towel should work .... show pics to be on the safe side before you bake ... | Get a test part and run some tests on it for temperature and minutes, I would guess. I don't have mine yet so I'm not sure how to set the temp and time on these yet. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ--Karen--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

| Michelle, I have what looks like the same one as yours, except where yours is blue, mine is red. I lay a dish towel (with no nap) on the bottom and lay the parts onto it. But before I ever put any pieces in I used the oven thermometer and sat and watched how long it took and what setting it took to get it the right temp.
For mine I cook on power level 6 and I set the timer for 10 minutes if it's the first bake of the day and 9 for the following ones if I'm doing two dolls and can rotate the parts in and out immediately. It takes mine about a minute or so to get up to temp and then it's right around 255-258 which is why I bake more than the 8 minutes. If I bump it up to the next power level it heats up to 275 ... so being a cautious person I go with the lower amount and just cook a little longer.
Hope that helps! |

| Mine is touchy, I set it at around 300 to start out until it gets to about 265 on my oven thermometer and then I turn it down to about 250. I have to watch mine or it might shoot up too high. I just have two white towels in the bottom with no racks. Also, I put either the head & arms in together with the legs in a separate bake, or the head & one leg with the other leg & both arms in another bake. Unless I have a very small doll that will fit all at once. |

| Yes the nuwave whilst being same technology is an upside down oven in that the bowl sits over the plate whereas the others the plate sits in the bottom of the bowl. Mine is like Rachel's pic, and I never ave to alter the tmp setting, it sits on 125C and I bake 10 mins each time. Been using it now for 2 1/2 years and only ever one hiccup when had to borrow the lid to finish cooking the sunday roast and forgot to change the temp back to 125. ══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ Lyn Reborn Artist - Lynk Nursery PLEASE CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE - NEW ITEMS BEING ADDED REGULARLY http://lynkproducts.com.au |

Keep a close eye on that thing! I had the same trouble with a Fagor brand halogen oven and ended up taking it back after almost melting a baby. The spooky thing was, the temperature never reached over 275, but the vinyl was so soft my tongs left permanent dents in her temples. |

I never use anything metal to pick up the pieces, I lift them out by hand. Yes the vinyl is very hot when it comes out but if too hot wear some gloves, otherwise lift the lid and allow them to cool a little before taking them out.══(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)════(¯`•.¸.•°*°•. ✿ .•°*°•.¸.•´¯)══ Lyn Reborn Artist - Lynk Nursery PLEASE CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE - NEW ITEMS BEING ADDED REGULARLY http://lynkproducts.com.au |
