PostSubject: VINYL REPAIR   Mon 28 Nov - 13:27:28

Silly me was opening my noise with a dremel and I marked my dolls face. the bit came out of her nose and Left 5 little dots. Well I sanded the dots with very, very fine sandpaper, and it finally looked good. No more dots. Well when I painted over with flesh color all you can see is lines in the face where I sanded. Looks like my baby took a digger and scrapped her face. My poor little Kendyl. So needless to say, this is not a good thing. My question is, is there anything I can do to make these scratches go away? Is there a vinyl filler I could use? Or should I just give up? I was trying to buy another Kendall face, but could not find one so far. I was going to use another face, but after looking at all the prices just for a face, I guess I should just by the whole kit again from BB. It is around 25.00 for the full kit.
I would appreciate any help you all could give me.
thanks.

Oh no! That's why I would never use a dremel! I hand drill mine.
I don't know if it would fix the problem but I think I would try finger
tapping a little thinning medium or glazing gel on the scratches.
It might work. Def worth trying something before giving up on it.
