I am coming to the Alabama Workshop!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you will absolutely love every minute of it, first of all the workshop is going to be very exciting and if you have never attended one get ready for a exciting event, I will do my best to see that all is some happy campers in everyway. Lara and I talked about the class and we have some good ideas ahead of us so you stay tuned for all the new and exciting things we will be doing.

I was just reading back over the wonderful post offered by the forum ladys and I am just wanting to add a special note to remember for anyone who is considering joining in with us at our Langston WS, we do love the fun that the atmosphere brings and do set a time around the workshop to unwind and see the site but most importantly the Lessons you will learn with all the latest techniques Lara will be bringing to the table is our number one priority as you will most deffenantly get your moneys worth all the way around, the workshop is what we do look forward to learning and we do a good eight hour day with brakes and all that jazz with food avaliable at all times for your pleasure but during the actual learning process you will have hands on up close and personal from one of the best teachers which is Lara herself and then you have us mods who can assist you in many ways, Karen will be assisting Lara by working the kitchen end of the workshop and she is quite good at it along with her assistance in other areas as well, I am the hostess and have been told a pretty good one and I am learning the ropes there as well so plan to eat really good. I do see that each and everyone of you are taken care of in the bunkhouse and have a good place to sleep. Oh did I mention Karen will have a birthday that week-end! We all can join in to help her celebrate! Expect lots of laughter and lots of serious time as well. I am excited to be just sitting down and learning the class along side of you all. Ladys lets make this a memorable event and I just can't wait to meet each of you in person!! I hope you will give it your best shot to be with us because we will be learning something together. Last years was one of the best and I know it only gets better!!!! Thank you Lara for your time with us!!

Karen we are gonna celebrate you big 50th and even play a few games, I have yet to think of the ones that will be most fun, maybe some singing and having like a american idol contest, wouldn't that be fun. I am serious when I say that pin the tale on the donkey will be so much fun to do as we will do it a bit different. I am going to bake you a cake myself and the champagne will be a nice topper for the afterhours group. during our serious workshop hours we can all laugh and work together. It was one of the most fun times last year for me. Hey I may even sing with the kiroki box. Must warn all I don't sing very good and so I will start practicing now. We will even have a prize for the best singer. I want to make this the best workshop ever in Alabama.

I'm sure it will be, Rebecca. I want your chili, too. That was great for lunches.

Ok, can't miss a good party......count me in. Loved the last one. Since it's also going to be a birthday party, will need to bring the margarita blender!!!!
