Hope everyone's shopping and creating is going well! For those of you sending your swap gifts internationally you should probably try and get them mailed by the end of the week so they arrive in time

My shopping is finished and will be on it's way tomorrow or Friday

I started creating yesterday. I have a migraine starting, but I'm going to try and keep going anyway...I hope!

Got one put together. Just hoping that I could get it sent out by the end of the week.

I'm also still waiting and hope I don't have to go to Plan B.

We've got time yet, and I'm sure the partners receiving the gifts would understand.

I am cutting and sewing and making jeweling things.

Yay! My headache yesterday went away and I was able to get a LOT done...I'm nearly finished.

I will be sending mine tomorrow

All was going well on my end until I sewed the shoes. I need to post the pattern number because the shoes turned out much smaller than I thought.

The good news is I had plenty of fabric to make the right size. The funny part is they fit a baby that is 25% smaller - that is a huge difference.

So now I have shoes for a wee one... - which are impossible to buy and they turned out really cute.

The good news is I didn't need to buy anything - but I did use many, many things from my sewing stash. Made me feel good to use what I have. Lots of hand sewing too - which is my favorite.

I will be ready to mail by Monday February 27th at the latest. When I finish sewing I need to start the tax stuff for the IRS - I love math - but not IRS math - BOO HOO!

I had trouble with the shoes I'm making too. I hate sewing shoes.

I've always wanted to make shoes and these were pretty easy. I shrunk the pattern 25% which made them pretty small and small is always hard to sew.

I'm thinking that the bigger ones will be so much easier. The only hard part was keeping the left from the right. The pattern instructions did not mention that. - Pretty ignorant of them.

I had a friend in the 1970's who thought I sewed everything - which I pretty much did, including a cover for my horsehair sofa from the 1930's. She said I would probably make my own shoes and even sent me an advertizement about making your own - while she was living in Thailand. I think I should have bought it.

I also wish I had that old sofa.

Yes, I got the information and my package has been mailed out. I hope my swap partner is happy with what I have made. This is my first time, so if I did not send enough, please let me know and I will send more items.
