To Lara or anyone abt. the Native Amer. Indian class....

What eyes should we use for the Native American Indian class? Just wondering if Lara wants us using a specific kind/type/size or the brand Adrie recommends on her site? Especially since we're going for the Native Amer. Indian look & not as Asian?

Or if anyone knows if Lara may have posted the supply list (w/ that info) elsewhere on the site & I just missed it....could anyone let me know please? I figured I'd ask since I saw the adorable photos on a different post by Lara, of her finished painted WIP for that class . That baby is going to be phenomenal when she's totally finished!

BTW, if any of you ladies went ahead & got your eyes already, what did u go with??? (If u don't mind sharing that info on the open forum with everyone?!) thankyou!

As with anything, use whatever eyes you want to use. Lara most likely used the glass half round eyes she buys from Adries site for hers, though. If you want to know what would be closest to the color of the american indian, it would be a dark brown.

Thanks Karen, I figured dark brown, but wasn't sure how much the actually oriental style eyes would l differ from just a dark brown style. But on Adrie's site she's recommending the full rounds since the eye sockets are "adapted" to fit them best. I've never used a full round before & have a hard enough time getting the eye's in period...(with my short little stubby fingers) lol I've never tried the glass eyes before, maybe I'll actually go for those this time to see the difference IDK Guess it's like you said & all comes down to what works best for the look we're going for. wink

You can get the REAL acrylic in a full round from Hunnybuns. I actually like them because they are easier to set with my short stubby fingers.

That's what I'll probably do then! I need to order a couple bars of Stephanie's "cider latte" soap anyway...I LOVE that soap! The smell of it reminds me of cinnamon applesauce....YUMMMM! lol
