| I am using some of my alpaca that I bought last year. It is a deep deep dark brown almost black. It is beautiful. But a pain to root with because it is so fine I get nose itches! Then I will sneeze and we have floaty alpaca fur mixed with kitty and doggy fur all over the place! LOL

| What about the straight black mohair that Bountiful Baby has that is made by Ruby Red Galleria? Is that a good brand?
Thank you,
Cynthia |

| I know that some have hated the Ruby Red. I have used it several times with no complaint. This is Ruby Red Curve in black mixed with dark brown on my Middle Eastern baby, Little Laura. It is very soft with no breaking, very clean, well packaged, it rooted very well and it has a soft sheen to it. There was no dye coming off it like some have said. You can see the slight curve in the mohair. They now have straight Ruby Red, I have not tried that. |
