Have you ever turned a facial blemish into a mole on your own face? Well, that's basically the only time I'll do a mole on a baby, is if I have to cover a blemish.

Yes, as Lara stated, newborns do not come with moles. They only appear over time as the child ages. Birth marks, like red strawberry marks, or cafe-au-lait light tan irregular shaped areas, or even the purple port wine birth mark will show up at birth or within a few days after, but not moles.

I do not put them on my babies unless the new mom insists. A friend of mine had a custom where the mom requested a birth mark of moles shaped like the constellation Orion. Now that one was a challenge. It was not on the baby's face though. I am thinking it was on the arm or thigh but don't exactly remember. Talk about a crash course in astronomy

Well I myself have one on my face lol. and I hate the thing but have lived with it for most of my life .. don't believe I was born with it at least i don't see it in any of my baby pics at age 4 or 5 I guess it showed up lol.... so I agree moles are not put on baby's unless your covering up a problem lol. I don't like some of the ones I have seen on babies on ebay so I wouldn't put one on any of my babies although if it's a custom request from a customer then that is another story. I wouldn't even know how to begin making one though But I have a couple flat moles on my neck and I hate them but they didn't show up until around age 6 so babies aren't born with them.

The only mole I did was on Andi's belly plate because somehow an orange spot appeared right in middle of tummy so I had to try to fix it so fixed it as a mole. It looked okay

I didn't do a mole...but a tan "angel kiss" on one of Cianne's legs due to a defect in the vinyl.

I thought it turned out cute...and my grandaughter loved it....as she has one in the exact same spot!!!
