| I love antiques in general and especially vintage textiles. Last year before we moved I sold lots of old baby clothing and child's clothing on eBay to a lady who wanted them for her photography studio and child's tea room, but I just could not part with it all. Yesterday I went up to my attic and looked for something for the baby I am working on and rediscovered a huge container of baby hats from the 1920's-1940's that I had forgotten about. When I get my baby done, I will do a baby fashions across time photoshoot for everyone, if others would like me to do it. In the meantime I thought I would share this little knit hat. I just love it! |

| That hat is adorable and in such good condition! I have collected some vintage layettes but they have been shrunk by some well meaning person not realizing they are wool! My Tiny Tears and Dydee Babies enjoy the shrunken layettes now! I would love to see your hat fashion photos! |

| I am glad you like the little hat and I will plan on doing my baby fashions across time photo shoot over spring break. I am looking forward to it. Hopefully, a lot of the stuff will fit my new baby and with luck she will have her hair and body by then.
Groovyday, I have some of those shrunken layettes too. Most of the little hats are really good though. One even has wire in it and is one of those flapper styles with the big bow. I have a friend who works in a museum with textiles and if he has time I will have him help me accurately date everything, if not, it will be my educated guess. |

| So cute and I love antiques too though I've had to get rid of most all mine since moving in with my daughter. I've still got a lot of old dolls I've got to get rid of but haven't found any one who collects them and I hate ebay. Dianne |
