She is 11 weeks old. a little girl we named Suzi Lou Snuffullufagus. Okay so we can't spell it but she is learning it quickly.. Found her by chance and she is what I've wanted for two years thu I sure don't need her. She makes 5 dogs.. Yep nuts but we have acreage and a big house and kennels and just everything we could possibly need so why the heck not. Right? I know I am rationalizing. She slept thru the night in my bed under my chin. She does what Bostons are supposed to do, sleeps, snuffles, snores and farts. She must be show quality right?? No, just pet but she will win the show in my eyes. She has a well baby puppy appointmnet tomorrow and second shots too. My hubby is convinced she is the smartest dog on earth. Hopefully he remembers that when she chews thru his computer cord and his socks and underwear. Puppy teeth need to be chewwed out. Boy are her little milk teeth sharp!!!! Sorry I posted here instead of pets but I had to share with everyone Woo Hoo!!!!

Oh, she is so cute! I rub soft bar soap, like creamy Dove; on table legs and electric cords to prevent the cats from chewing. Maybe that would work for Puppy? They get one taste of the soap and always remember! The soap doesn`t damage your furniture, you can just wipe it off with a damp cloth and then it is nice smelling and clean.

And Barb....what a wonderful tip abou the soap...if it works for cats...I think it should work for puppies too!!!!

She is gorgeous. I have a dog that the soap would encourage him to chew on those things. My Buddy LOVES soap. We started using liquid soap after he came to live with us. We tried all brands and it does not matter he loves soap and will eat any bar any where if not constantly supervised. LOL . He will also put his toys in the toilet if the lid is left opened. He rather put them there instead of one of his toy boxes. Any toilet lid left open is for sure going to have a toy in it and if you left the lid up you get the toy out. I have no issues making my guys put the lid down. They do not like fishing stuffed animals out of there.

I had a cat named Bartholomew who jumped into the sink with me and then the bathtub - so think twice about dogs and soap and cats and water!

I know what you mean about puppies teeth and chewing. My Daisy was not only chewing all of her toys and my shoes, but she was also chewing the wooden legs of the furniture. I put a paste mixture of cayenne and chili pepper powders and "painted" the legs and she quit chewing them. You can't put it on light colored wood, cuz it will stain it a nice dark red, but on the darker ones, I can't see it at all. And it worked!

She is adorable! They sell something called bitter apple at pet stores. You just spray it on whatever you don't want the puppy to chew and it won't stain. They hate the taste. I've used it for quite a few of my pups.
